Is PlexusDx legit?
A real business with a real prescription requirement. The question worth asking is what it dispenses and what it bills — $189 a month.

How we make money: one company on this page — Coreage Rx — pays us a commission when a reader signs up through our link. It buys them nothing else: not a better score, not a higher place in the table, not the removal of a single criticism. Our scoring method and full disclosure are both public.
Short answer: PlexusDx is a real, operating telehealth business that requires a prescription and a clinician review, and there is nothing in what we checked to suggest otherwise. The longer answer is about what exactly it dispenses and what it charges.
"Legit" tends to mean two different things when people search it. One is "will I be scammed" — and on that, PlexusDx behaves like a legitimate business. The other is "is what I am being sold what I think it is", and that is the question worth more of your time.

The five-point check
- Requires a prescription and a clinician review. Yes — PlexusDx routes intake through a licensed clinician before anything ships. Any seller that does not is the single clearest warning sign in this market.
- Dispenses FDA-approved medication. No — this is a compounded preparation, which the FDA has not reviewed for safety, effectiveness or manufacturing quality. That is true of most low-cost programmes and is not by itself a mark against them, but you should know it.
- Names its compounding pharmacy. Yes, publicly — which puts PlexusDx in a small minority of the programmes we track.
- Publishes its ongoing price. Partly. The advertised figure is $129 and the billed figure is $189 — The advertised "from $129" is the programme floor. Budget $189/month for the compounded injection tier.
- States what happens on cancellation. Reasonably clearly, and leaving is straightforward.
What "compounded" means here. A compounding pharmacy prepares the medication against an individual prescription. It is legal and long-established, but the preparation itself is not FDA-approved. Since the shortages resolved the rules have narrowed considerably — see is compounded still legal.
What it costs, plainly

| Advertised from | $129 |

| Billed monthly | $189 |

Where it falls short
- The genetics-led positioning adds cost and complexity some people will not want.
- The $129 figure is a programme floor rather than the injection price.
- Weight care sits alongside a broad longevity and supplement line rather than being the sole focus.
Red flags we did not find
- No prescription requirement — not the case here.
- Medication sold as "research chemicals" or "not for human consumption" — not the case here.
- Prices far below every other seller, which usually signals an unlicensed source.
- No way to contact a clinician after purchase.
- No named clinical leadership anywhere on the site.

Our verdict
PlexusDx is legitimate in the sense most people mean. Whether it is *right* for you is a separate question, and it comes down to the $189 a month and the genetics-led positioning adds cost and complexity some people will not want. Our full assessment is in the PlexusDx tirzepatide review.
