Best value, not just cheapest

Where the money buys something — clinical support, sourcing transparency or flexibility — rather than simply being the lowest number.

How we make money: one company on this page — Coreage Rx — pays us a commission when a reader signs up through our link. It buys them nothing else: not a better score, not a higher place in the table, not the removal of a single criticism. Our scoring method and full disclosure are both public.

Cheapest and best value are different questions. This page is for the second one: where does each extra dollar actually buy something you can point at?

The test we applied is simple. If a programme costs more than the floor, we asked what the difference buys — unlimited clinician access, a named pharmacy, flat dose pricing, insurance advocacy — and whether that thing is worth the gap.

What gets a programme onto this table

  • Medication included in the monthly price.
  • Ranked on score per dollar — our overall rating divided by the billed monthly cost — rather than on score or price alone.
  • Fee-only and microdose programmes excluded, since their price is not comparable.

18 of the 21 providers we track qualify. Every figure checked by hand and verified 2026-09-18 and re-checked periodically.

Cheapest qualifying option: Trimi at $125 a month. Our featured partner is pinned to the top of the list where it qualifies — see how we rate for who scores higher.

1. Coreage Rx — Best overall on true monthly cost

$199 a month, no membership fee. Flat-rate telehealth program for compounded GLP-1s. The medication, the clinician visits and the ongoing check-ins are quoted as one number, with no separate membership billed alongside it.

The $99 and $149 rates are annual-plan prices. If you want month-to-month, budget $149 and $199 instead, and check the refund terms before prepaying a year. Read the full Coreage Rx review.

2. Trimi — Lowest flat price with named pharmacies

$125 a month, no membership fee. Flat-rate compounded GLP-1 programme on annual plans, with medical oversight through the Arora Health clinician network and publicly named 503A compounding pharmacies.

Both headline prices are annual-plan rates. Confirm the month-to-month figure and the refund terms before prepaying twelve months. Read the full Trimi review.

3. Ozari Health — Lowest advertised semaglutide price

$125 a month, no membership fee. Flat-rate compounded GLP-1 telehealth service operating in all 50 states, with physician review through the Arora Health network and a dedicated health concierge.

Confirm whether $86 is a month-to-month rate or requires a longer commitment, and ask which pharmacy compounds it. Read the full Ozari Health review.

4. Fifty 410 — Prepaid blocks with no subscription

$133 a month, no membership fee. Compounded GLP-1 telehealth platform selling prepaid three-month blocks with no membership, no subscription and no recurring charges.

The $133 is the starter protocol. Moving to the high-dose protocol takes it to $183/month, and both are prepaid three-month commitments. Read the full Fifty 410 review.

Questions we get asked

What is worth paying extra for?

In our view: a named compounding pharmacy, a price that holds across the dose ladder, and real clinical access when side effects hit. Those three change outcomes. Branding and app polish do not.

What is the single biggest hidden cost?

A membership that renews higher than its introductory rate. It is the commonest reason a $99 advert becomes a $198 statement.

Two things worth knowing before you buy on price

Compounded preparations are not FDA-approved. Two approved oral GLP-1s now start around $149 a month, and from 1 July 2026 eligible Medicare beneficiaries can access certain GLP-1s for $50 a month — both of which beat a large part of this market. See the approved pills and the Medicare programme.

In SURMOUNT-1, adults with obesity lost an average of 19.5% of body weight on 10 mg and 20.9% on 15 mg over 72 weeks. That figure comes from a controlled trial of the active ingredient, not from any particular seller's product.
